We Celebrate the coming New Year as well as the last day of Kwanzaa, an annual cultural celebration of African American and Pan-African heritage. The name Kwanzaa derives from the Swahili phrase "matunda ya kwanza," meaning "first fruits," and the holiday is based on traditions from various African harvest celebrations. To honor this tradition, along with holiday snacks, Traditional Kwanzaa Sorrel, a vibrant ruby-red, spiced beverage from the Caribbean and West Africa will be served!
